About the role
• M.S. (PhD desired) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline • Experience with RF design and testing desired, expertise with optical transmitter and receiver modules for telecom or data center applications desired • Industrial experience desired. Proven track record of taking products from early design and development, through initial builds and into volume manufacture • Experience with RF design and simulation tools such as HFSS and ADS required • Familiarity with high-speed RF test equipment and methods required, including VNA, TDR, electrical spectrum analyzer, electrical sampling oscilloscope, etc • In-depth technical understanding of optoelectronic components & ASICs is a plus • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and results to both highly technical and non-technical co-workers • Ability to function independently as well as in a team environment. A positive attitude is essential. • Strong problem solving and data analysis capabilities are required
