Optoelectronic Manufacturing Test Engineer

You have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in optoelectronics product validation and testing, with a focus on optical communication and manufacturing. Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly SQL and JMP, for efficient data handling and interpretation. Strong understanding of optical communication principles and electrical/optical test fundamentals, ensuring accurate test execution. Familiarity with optical and electrical test equipment, including their calibration and maintenance procedures. Experience with vb.net or similar programming languages for test automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and decision-making. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively. Effective communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices, ensuring professional growth. Scripts to reduce downtime, improve yields and tester efficiency. Troubleshooting tools - improve debug turnaround, cost savings. Alternative equipment sourcing - cost reduction, capex avoidance. Experience with yield reporting/analysis tools. Experience with GR & R & test stability study and yield studies. Experience in developing new equipment drivers.
