Principal Solutions Architect

Role Overview: As a Principal Solutions Architect at Nomiso, you will be responsible for designing, building, operating, and scaling robust software systems. Your role will involve continuous engagement in architecture design, troubleshooting, automation, and maintaining production stability. As a technical evangelist, you will explore new solution possibilities, prototype with new technologies, code daily, present innovations, contribute to the open-source community, and speak at technical conferences. Key Responsibilities: - Partner closely with stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineering Managers, CxO leaders, and core engineering teams for strategic collaboration. - Create optimal technical designs for distributed systems, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices. - Take ownership of end-to-end software delivery, guaranteeing alignment with approved design and technology stack. - Produce comprehensive system design documents, including logical designs, deployment architectures, High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. - Design and implement AI/Gen AI-based agentic technical solutions where appropriate. - Provide critical L3/L4 engineering support, actively participate in production incident calls, and develop quick recovery fixes and long-term preventive solutions. - Act as a mentor, providing technical guidance to engineers and individual contributors. - Establish and champion best practices for software development, leveraging AI across development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. - Contribute to the organization's technical vision, driving adoption of best-in-class engineering practices, automation, and AI agentic solutions. Qualification Required: - Extensive Hands-On Experience: 15+ years of hands-on coding, HLD, and LLD creation with a passion for managing complex systems. - Distributed Systems Mastery: At least 5 years of experience in designing and architecting distributed systems at scale. - Cloud Architecture: Strong expertise in building scalable software in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments using container and serverless technologies. - Core Programming: Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot or Golang with experience in microservices architecture. - Data Modeling: Hands-on experience in designing data models for services (RDBMS and NoSQL). - SDLC Fluency: Comprehensive understanding of all SDLC phases.
