Working closely with front-office and middle office to enhance existing systems and develop new functionality to support a growing business. Coding/setup of generation and monitoring of downstream feeds to other systems. Respond to ad-hoc queries from Sales & Trading and Middle Office. Provide support for trade capture and monitoring of Front Office. Integrate various vendor systems with internal Nomura systems and processes. Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to work with Data. Strong Database skills, SQL and one or more of MS SQL, Sybase, Postgres Strong server side programming skills in Java/Spring/Hibernate. Strong Scripting Skills Shell/Python/Perl Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have good interpersonal skills and a team player. Understands and uses best-practice software engineering skills.
