About the role
Within the Product Engineering - Braking Business Unit, Engineering Technologies Department, Noise, Vibration and Harshness Group
Responsibilities for the position of Product Engineer include

Utilization of noise and vibration measurement and analysis tools to evaluate and improve vehicle braking and suspension system NVH performance to meet customer targets.

Perform standard and custom component & system level tests such as FRF, modal analysis, transient response to determine dynamic characteristics.

Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis using noise / vibration testing dyno rigs, shakers, chassis rigs, vehicle and other laboratory methods to isolate sources of NHV and propose countermeasures.

Collaborate with product engineering, project management , NVH and CAE engineering staff to propose, evaluate and recommend necessary design change solutions.

Conduct braking and suspension core engineering projects including investigating and developing new techniques and methodologies.

Coordinate associated NVH lab maintenance, calibration and documentation for instrumentation, project, procedure and database such as (NVH work request, testing plan, testing data, engineering report, customer presentation, etc.

Provide NVH leadership to customers. Attend working and review meetings with internal and external customers. Conduct data analysis, write and present technical reports/presentations.

BA in Engineering Background in automotive, specifically braking & suspension
