In this role as a Senior Consultant Business Analyst at Northern Trust, you will be a key member of the Entitlements scrum team, responsible for delivering prioritized projects following an Agile methodology. Your role will involve representing the customer in the scrum team, defining, prioritizing, and delivering user stories in the team backlog aligned with the program strategy and release objectives. You will collaborate with the Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build the backlog and support the successful delivery of sprints. Key BA Competency expectations for this role include: - End-to-end software development life cycle experience, covering requirements gathering, process modeling, data analysis, design validation, testing support, and operational readiness - Understanding business strategy and collaborating with business and technology teams to develop project scope - Leading the development of functional and non-functional business requirements - Providing expertise, analysis, and driving change for strategic transformational and operational initiatives - Reviewing requirements for quality and completeness, ensuring adherence to senior business analyst execution standards Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Experience in Global Custody and/or Asset Servicing environment - Strong knowledge and working experience in entitlements processing and Agile methodology - Proficiency in data analysis, including data mapping, and MS Office tools - Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills - Experience in a large multiyear global transformation project - Relevant Business Analyst/Product Owner role for 7+ years - BA/PO certifications are encouraged - Experience working with BaNCs and/or IMActions systems is desirable Your experience should include 24 months as a Senior Consultant for internal applications or 13+ years of relevant experience.
