About the role
Role Overview: As a .NET Software Engineer at our company located in Bangalore, you will be responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art web applications for a global market. You will work on a hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days working from home, showcasing your coding skills and contributing to the development of scalable systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop modern, high-performing web applications using C#.NET Web APIs, nodeJS, and SQL Server. - Review business requirements and break them down into user stories for the team backlog. - Create and maintain technical specifications while following best coding practices and writing unit tests. - Conduct code reviews and provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems. - Participate in the implementation and troubleshooting of cloud-based services and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes. - Collaborate with Scrum teams in planning meetings and contribute to the Agile and DevOps culture. - Monitor system performance and develop solutions for complex problems. Qualification Required: - Degree in computer science or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience as a .NET software engineer. - Expertise in writing secure APIs, microservices, and reusable components. - Good understanding of .NET web application development, front-end technologies, and Azure or AWS services. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, and frontend frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue. - Practical experience with agile methodologies and a collaborative working style. - Strong communication skills in English and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Additional Details: - Experience in developing enterprise-scale, multi-user applications is preferred. - Solid understanding of designing and optimizing Web APIs for large-scale usage. - Familiarity with MVC.NET web-based application development using Microsoft .NET Core, Standard, and/or Framework. - Knowledge of serverless architecture and experience with AWS services is a plus. - Exposure to Apache SOLR would be beneficial.
