Backend Developer

Responsibilities Designing and planning systems, services, and components. End-to-end software development. Building and maintaining scalable, distributed systems. Creating and consuming Web Services, REST APIs, RPC, Spring/Spring Boot-based applications. Testing, deployment, and continuous monitoring of services. Instrumentation, observability, and dashboard development. Debugging production issues and handling incidents with a you build it, you own it mindset. Stakeholder collaboration and communication. Technical mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team. Requirements 2 to 8 years of software development experience in product engineering environments. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Programming. Expertise in Java/Core Java development. Experience in building and consuming REST APIs, SOAP, RPC, Spring/Spring Boot applications. Proven experience in building large-scale distributed systems or core systems programming. Familiarity with various data stores, data modelling, and system scaling techniques. A DevOps mindset - ownership of development, deployment, and production health. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong problem-solving abilities.
