The Real Time Data Administrator (RTDA) will be responsible for monitoring, validating, managing, and supporting real-time drilling and operational data received from offshore and onshore drilling rigs. The role involves ensuring continuous data availability, maintaining data quality, troubleshooting data transmission issues, and supporting 24/7 real-time operations environments. The successful candidate will work closely with drilling engineers, rig personnel, real-time operations teams, and technical support teams to ensure reliable and uninterrupted data services across multiple drilling operations. Monitor real-time drilling and operational data streams from assigned rigs. Ensure continuous availability and integrity of rig data feeds.Identify and escalate data interruptions, anomalies, or communication failures.Perform first-level troubleshooting for data transmission and visualization issues.Validate incoming drilling data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.Monitor sensor/channel performance and report abnormal readings.Maintain proper mapping and configuration of real-time data channels.Support data cleansing and correction activities when required.Support real-time data aggregation and visualization platforms.Coordinate with IT/network teams and third-party vendors for issue resolution.Provide timely updates during data outages or system issues.Participate in shift handovers and operational status reporting.Follow company HSE, cybersecurity, and operational procedures.Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Instrumentation, Information Technology or related technical discipline.3-5 years of experience in Knowledge of real-time drilling data systems and workflows.Real-time data aggregation systemsData visualization platformsIndustrial automation and data integration environments. Understanding of drilling parameters and rig operations. Basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge. Experience with ticketing and incident management systems. Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Experience supporting major drilling operations or upstream oil & gas projects. Exposure to cybersecurity practices in operational technology environments. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and analytics tools. Familiarity with real-time drilling applications and reporting systems.
