About the role
You will be joining Novartis as an Associate Analyst - Analytics for its International BA team. Your role will involve providing analytical support on high complexity reports to internal customers, contributing to business decision-making by analyzing commercial analytics data and identifying trends. You will work on commercial analytics projects, maintain existing reports, and support the development of reporting platforms based on business inputs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements will be key. Additionally, you will participate in performance tracking, knowledge sharing, and support day-to-day business-related tasks. Your attention to detail, ability to interpret data trends and insights, and proficiency in collaborative work will be crucial. - Possess strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information - Interpret granular data, analyze results, and derive actionable insights. Clearly communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders to aid decision-making processes - Support in developing, maintaining, and improving insightful reporting solutions and dashboards - Assist in managing and organizing data sets to find patterns and trends while ensuring data integrity and accuracy - Use data analytics to understand customer behavior and enhance marketing effectiveness - Standardize reports across brands and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders - Stay informed on industry trends to advise management on strategies for business growth - Build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality checklists for excellent quality outputs and knowledge repositories Qualifications required: - MBA with Graduate/Postgraduate in Medicine (MD/MBBS/BDS), Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a bachelor's degree in marketing, Statistics, or a related field - Data analytics experience, preferably in a market research firm or pharmaceutical company - 0-2 years of overall experience in data modeling, SQL, and technical problem-solving - Expertise in MS Excel, SQL, Power Query, and ETL tools like Alteryx, DataIKU - Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, or similar) is preferred - Experience with Power BI and knowledge of Statistical modeling or ML is desirable - Ability to work across projects, datasets, and technologies in an international matrix environment - Understanding of healthcare terminology and real-world patient level data is a plus - Strong multitasking abilities, able to work under tight deadlines, and develop strong individual and team performance Additional Details of the company: Novartis aims to make a difference by helping people with diseases and their families through innovative science and a community of smart, passionate individuals.
