Role Overview: This role as an Associate Director of Architecture and Integration (AI) provides you with an exciting opportunity to design the technical foundations that will facilitate the scaling of AI within a global Corporate Affairs function efficiently and consistently. As the AI Architect, you will be responsible for translating business priorities into secure, reusable, and production-ready solution designs that support high-value AI use cases across insight generation, content creation, and strategic communications and engagement. Collaborating closely with the Director of AI Enablement, IT, and internal partners, your role will ensure that AI solutions are architected for enterprise deployment, integration, and long-term sustainability. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to create scalable architecture that accelerates delivery, reduces duplication, and enables AI solutions to transition from pilot phases to reliable business use. Key Responsibilities: - Lead solution architecture for priority AI use cases within Corporate Affairs, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and production-ready technical designs. - Drive end-to-end development and deployment of AI-powered intelligence solutions, positioning Corporate Affairs at the forefront of applied AI research and analytics. - Define and maintain architecture standards, reusable patterns, and integration approaches to enable consistent and efficient delivery across the AI portfolio. - Partner with internal teams, such as IT and Legal, to ensure alignment of AI solutions with enterprise technology strategy, platform standards, and other requirements. - Design architectures that support reliability, interoperability, and reuse, enabling solutions to scale beyond individual pilots into broader functional adoption. - Review proposed solution designs and challenge technical decisions to improve feasibility, performance, maintainability, and long-term value. - Identify and manage architectural risks, dependencies, and constraints early to help resolve issues before they impact timelines or production performance. - Support the evaluation of AI platforms, tools, and external partners, providing technical guidance on fit, integration, and sustainability within the broader technology landscape. - Ensure all architectures are designed with responsible AI, data privacy, security, and governance requirements embedded from the outset. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 12-15 years of progressive experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, software engineering, or AI/ML delivery roles, with at least 3 years architecting production-grade AI, generative AI, or advanced analytics solutions in a corporate environment. - Extensive experience with AI platforms or toolchains such as Claude, GPT, Azure OpenAI, Langfuse, vector databases, etc. - Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions that integrate enterprise platforms, data sources, and business workflows. - Hands-on familiarity with large language models, generative AI application patterns, model integration, orchestration approaches, and technical controls required for reliable enterprise deployment. - Strong experience defining architecture standards, reusable design patterns, and governance guardrails that support consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability. - Demonstrated track record of translating business requirements into practical technical architectures that facilitate successful delivery and measurable business outcomes.
