About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing Data, Integrations, and Analytics platforms using cutting edge technologies to deliver the highest value for the business. You will manage, coach, and oversee a large team of internal and external associates (500) distributed across key Novartis locations worldwide with an annual budget of over 75M. Major Responsibilities: - Lead large technology and project/program management teams to define and implement Data, Integrations, and Analytics Platform capabilities for Novartis - Define and select platform technologies to address enterprise needs and partner with various business functions to drive adoption and monetize business impact - Develop colleagues and grow talent towards making Data and Associates AI-ready - Integrate GenAI capabilities within data, integration, and analytics platforms to enhance the experience of developers and consumers of analytics - Enable smooth onboarding of various use cases on the data, integrations, and analytics platforms - Create reusable assets and deploy them across functions and geographies for business value generation - Drive product relationship management with software vendors and system integrators - Ensure compliance of all designed solutions within platform architecture scope to all relevant internal/external requirements Minimum Requirements: - 20 years of overall IT experience with expertise in building, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale Enterprise Data Management, Data Integrations, and Analytics platforms - Proven skills in defining and executing enterprise strategy for Data, Integrations, and Analytics platforms in collaboration with Business Functions - Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills - Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder management skills - Learning agility, continuous improvement mindset, and attention to details - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent If this role is not suitable for your experience or career goals but you wish to stay connected to hear more about Novartis and their career opportunities, you can join the Novartis Network here.
