Must Have Skills

Extensive hands-on experience with PowerFlex in live production environments at a senior level

Proven track record in managing and supporting PowerFlex day two operational activities

Solid background working within software-only PowerFlex deployments

Experience running platforms on repurposed or customer-owned server infrastructure

Comfortable navigating and operating within highly secure, locked-down IT environments

Strong troubleshooting capabilities spanning compute, storage, networking, and Linux systems

Demonstrated experience integrating and supporting automation in operational settings

Hands-on exposure to API integration and related operational workflows

Excellent documentation skills including the creation and upkeep of runbooks

Self-sufficient with the ability to operate independently under minimal supervision

Experienced in delivering remote engagements over long-term assignments

Adaptable to unconventional, non-standard, or unique customer environments

Nice to Have Skills

Familiarity with automation frameworks and API-driven operational workflows

Working knowledge of VMware-based infrastructure environments

Exposure to hybrid or cloud-adjacent technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure

Prior experience serving as a resident or embedded engineer at a customer site

Scope of Work

Take full senior-level operational ownership of a PowerFlex platform post-stabilization

Drive day two operations in a security-constrained, non-standard deployment

Adhere strictly to the customer's security posture and access control policies

Continuously adapt operational strategies as constraints and customer requirements evolve

Actively support automation efforts as the platform grows and scales

Oversee and facilitate API-driven operational processes and integrations

Regularly update, enhance, and refine runbooks and technical documentation

Document lessons learned and build institutional knowledge throughout the engagement

Serve as a dependable senior resource ensuring platform health, stability, and continuity

Develop comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and knowledge artifacts in the initial phase

Design and deliver an operational blueprint to guide long-term, sustainable platform management
