Java AI Platform Engineer

As a Senior Java + AI Platform Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and building scalable AI Governance, Observability, and Compliance platforms for strategic enterprise initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and building the evaluator platform to support an enterprise AI Governance offering - Developing the evaluation orchestrator and risk-classifier service - Building integrations with cloud and model providers such as AWS, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, and Anthropic - Creating evaluation datasets and metric packs for various criteria - Implementing scheduler capability and integrating with cloud deployment frameworks - Contributing to the self-serve UI for customers and observability/dashboards for evaluation outcomes - Delivering CI/CD-ready software with testing, code review, and service-quality controls In order to excel in this role, you should possess strong skills in Java (11/17) and Spring Boot, microservices, REST API design, SaaS application development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/LLM platforms, CI/CD pipelines, telemetry/observability, event-driven pipelines, and cloud audit/log sources. Preferred skills include exposure to LLM evaluation concepts, awareness of Responsible AI frameworks, Python for scripting, containerization/orchestration, observability/dashboarding tooling, and SIEM platforms.
