Title: MY SQL DBA Location: Bangalore Exp: 5+Years Job Description: 3 - 8 years of experience in Database Administration on Opensource Database technology MySQL As this is for a L2 requirement, candidates should have solid skills in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Database flavor's mentioned above including high availability, replication, disaster recovery, patching, backup & recovery, performance tuning, optimizing, and securing Databases in a large setting. Experience in Patching, Upgrading and Migration of Databases. Good understanding of Linux Operation System. Handson experience in atleast 2 Opensource database technologies will be added advantage or willingness to learn and work on other Opensource Databases. Ensure that systems comply with defined security standards when it comes to policies to hardening, security, policy enforcement Experience in setting up alert monitoring, considering the monitoring tools deployed in the environment Excellent troubleshooting skills. Should be able to resolve any issue related to Databases independently. Should be able to quickly isolate the problem and provide resolution to meet the SLAs Excellent documentation skills.
