About the role
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager - ERP Applications with strong domain exposure in the Infratech / Infrastructure / Engineering industry . The role will be responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, Project Management Systems, and other business-critical software platforms . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing IT applications within an Infratech environment and a strong understanding of business processes such as project lifecycle management, procurement, contract management, billing, asset management, and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Application Management & Strategy Lead the overall management of enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, HRMS, SCM, Project Management, and Asset Management systems . Align IT application roadmap with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and availability. 2. ERP & CRM Implementation / Support Manage end-to-end lifecycle of ERP and CRM systems including implementation, customization, upgrades, and integrations. Work closely with business teams (Projects, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Operations) to gather and translate requirements into system enhancements. Ensure proper configuration of modules related to: Finance & Accounts Procurement & Supply Chain Project Costing & Billing Contract Management Asset & Inventory Management CRM & Sales Lifecycle 3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with ERP/CRM vendors, implementation partners, and consultants. Manage SLAs, support contracts, and performance of application vendors. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. 4. Integration & Automation Ensure seamless integration between ERP, CRM, and other internal/external systems. Drive process automation and workflow optimization initiatives. Support data migration, system interfaces, and reporting frameworks. 5. Governance, Compliance & Security Ensure applications comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and industry standards. Manage user access controls and data security protocols. Support statutory and regulatory reporting needs. 6. Team Leadership Lead and mentor IT application support team members. Provide training to end-users and ensure high adoption rates. Drive continuous improvement and best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT. MBA (Systems/IT) preferred. 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in IT Applications management. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Infratech / Infrastructure / EPC / Construction industry (Mandatory). Proven hands-on experience in managing: ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / Infor / Similar) CRM platforms (Salesforce / MS Dynamics CRM / Zoho / Similar) Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of: ERP functional modules (FICO, MM, PS, SD, etc. or equivalent) CRM workflows and sales lifecycle management Project lifecycle management systems Experience in system integrations (APIs, middleware) Knowledge of database concepts and reporting tools (Power BI / Tableau preferred) Understanding of cloud-based enterprise applications ITIL knowledge preferred Key Competencies: Strong understanding of Infratech business processes Excellent stakeholder management skills Analytical and problem-solving mindset Project management capabilities Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Experience: Experience in large-scale ERP implementation within an Infrastructure/EPC company. Exposure to digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of contract-based project billing and cost control systems. Experience in managing multi-location IT application environments.
