Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Associate Software Quality Assurance / Testing Engineer at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in ensuring that the design and software adhere to company standards. You will be involved in every phase of the development process, providing support in the development and execution of both exploratory and automated tests to maintain product quality. Here is what your day at NTT DATA may look like: Key Responsibilities: - Proactively support planning, execution, reporting, and successful completion of QA activities for new development cycles and various releases. - Contribute to Agile-related user story review meetings, working with relevant stakeholders to understand application functionality. - Work with the user community to uphold quality standards and ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing coverage. - Design and implement end-to-end test scenarios, debug, define corrective actions, and track quality assurance metrics. - Perform thorough regression testing, review requirements, provide feedback, and create detailed test plans and test cases. - Develop, code, and execute automation scripts, track bugs, and apply testing processes for new and existing products. - Contribute to the development of standards and procedures for determining product quality and release readiness. - Support the continuous improvement of QA activities, document established processes, and suggest innovative testing processes. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Team player with attention to detail, ability to analyze complex systems, and understanding of SQL and scripting. - Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum, object-oriented programming, and software development processes. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications like Leading SAFe would be advantageous. - Moderate hands-on experience in AGILE/DevOps Methodology, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, software development, and quality assurance. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development, automated testing tools, and working in a geographically dispersed company.
