Associate Software Development Engineer

Role Overview: As an Associate Software Development Engineer at NTT DATA, you will be an entry-level subject matter expert responsible for assisting in designing, developing, and testing software systems, modules, or applications for software enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. You will play a key role in detailed design for certain modules/sub-systems, conducting prototypes for multi-vendor infrastructure, and showcasing them internally or externally to clients. Your responsibilities will also include designing and developing functionality in a micro-services environment, working with APIs, telemetry data, and running ML/AI algorithms on structured and unstructured data. Key Responsibilities: - Receive detailed instructions to design and develop solutions and functionality that drive business growth. - Assist in writing and testing code, executing automated testing, and participating in software deployment. - Work collaboratively with the product team to deliver software components. - Support integration and building of solutions through automation and coding using 3rd party software. - Craft, build, and debug large scale distributed systems, update technical program documentation, and assist in code refactoring. - Review code written by other developers and perform any other related tasks as required. Qualification Required: - Basic understanding of cloud architecture and services in multiple public clouds like AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365. - Developing expertise in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, libraries, and frameworks. - Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design, with strong analytical and debugging skills. - Experience with microservices-based software architecture, API product development, agile, lean practices, and test-driven development. - Ability to work well in a diverse team, thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and attention to detail. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals preferred. - Relevant agile certifications preferred. - Entry-level experience with geo-distributed teams, software delivery lifecycle tools, Agile and Lean methodologies, analytics, data-driven processes, developing microservices and RESTful APIs, and software development.
