Req ID: 305843 We are currently seeking a AWS Redshift Database Administrator to join our team in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN). Job Title: AWS Redshift Database Administrator Job Overview: This position may require on-call availability and might require working during non-business hours and on weekends in case of emergencies or planned maintenance. Responsibilities and Duties: - Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's AWS Redshift databases. - Perform and manage backup, recovery, and migration tasks. - Collaborate with data engineers and developers to optimize queries, data loads, and database schema design for maximum efficiency and performance. - Ensure that data replication, backup, and recovery processes are in place and functional to meet the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. - Implement and maintain database security, create, and manage user accounts, and maintain system security under the guidelines of the company's IT Security Policy. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, perform database tuning and performance monitoring. - Prepare and maintain documentation and standards related to database administration. - Stay informed of new technologies and practices relevant to database administration and recommend creative and where applicable, automated approaches for system administration tasks. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - 10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with at least 3 years focused on AWS Redshift. - Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. - Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting database servers, including AWS Redshift. - Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, EMR, and Lambda. - Proficient in SQL and experience with data migration, .
