Senior Associate Automation Engineer

As a Senior Associate Automation Engineer at NTT DATA, your role involves researching, developing, designing, and building automated systems and applications to enhance efficiency by reducing the need for human intervention. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, work on custom automation solutions, and implement improvements with measurable results. Your responsibilities also include providing technical direction and support to junior engineers, planning and overseeing test automation phases, preparing reports, and optimizing automation performance. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for technological advancements - Work on custom automation solutions to support the business area/team - Implement automated system and application improvements with measurable results - Program, configure, and integrate new technology into existing systems and applications - Provide technical direction and support/training to junior engineers - Assist in planning, organizing, monitoring, and oversight of test automation phases - Prepare reports summarizing automation-related information or trends - Develop and document processes for internal automation and development projects - Support/solve intensified issues from internal and external clients - Participate in design and code reviews - Optimize automation performance to meet contracted KPIs - Define resource needs for testing - Audit current lab processes for automation opportunities - Develop and execute performance test scripts - Lead the development of continuous integration and delivery automation pipelines - Perform/lead test execution for projects and support activities - Explore and implement new automation methods To thrive in this role, you need to have: - Developing proficiency in maintaining automation systems and applications - Developing understanding of computer programming and software development - Troubleshooting technology and performing complex system tests - Good problem-solving, organizational, and creative thinking skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical skills and ability to keep up with the latest technologies - Desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge Academic qualifications and certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or similar field - Programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C# preferred Required experience: - Moderate level experience with robotics, AI, and machine learning - Moderate level project management experience - Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools - Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies - Moderate level programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C# NTT DATA is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and providing an inclusive environment free of discrimination and harassment.
