Job Description: ETL QA Engineer Experience: 57 Years Location: Mumbai / Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days per Week from Office) Shift Timing: 12:00 PM 9:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Engineer with a strong background in data validation, database testing, and Asset Management domain expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data across ETL processes, data warehouses, and financial applications. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in testing complex data transformations, reconciliation processes, and Asset Management systems within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for ETL processes, data migration projects, and data warehouse implementations.Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across multiple databases and data warehouse platforms.Perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, referential integrity, business rules, and transformation logic.Conduct reconciliation testing and data quality assessments to identify discrepancies and ensure data reliability.Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports based on business and functional requirements.Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and testing needs.Perform end-to-end testing of Asset Management applications, including portfolio management, trading, investment accounting, and regulatory reporting systems.Support testing for securities processing, position reconciliation, NAV calculations, and performance attribution workflows.Identify, log, track, and verify defects through resolution.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline. Technical Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.Strong expertise in database testing using advanced SQL queries.Experience validating data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.Hands-on experience with source-to-target mapping validation and reconciliation testing.Strong understanding of data quality validation techniques and data governance principles.Experience with data migration testing and large-scale data warehouse implementations.Ability to analyze complex data flows and transformation logic.Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Domain Expertise Asset Management Proven experience testing Asset Management applications and platforms.Strong understanding of: o Portfolio Management o Trading Platforms o Investment Accounting o Regulatory Reporting o Securities Processing o Position Reconciliation o Net Asset Value (NAV) Calculations o Performance Attribution Knowledge of financial services data models and business workflows. Preferred Skills Exposure to automation testing in data and ETL environments.Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
