Principal Security Technical Architect

Role Overview: As a Principal Security Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will be the go-to expert in designing complex and robust security architectures for systems, applications, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating security requirements into system design and development, evaluating and selecting security technologies, defining and enforcing security policies, leading response activities during incidents, guiding the Sales team, and managing proof-of-concept initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop comprehensive security architectures considering current needs and future goals - Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project managers to integrate security requirements into the system design and development lifecycle - Evaluate and select security technologies, tools, and frameworks to support security architectures - Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices - Lead response activities during security incidents to ensure swift identification, containment, eradication, and recovery - Guide and influence the Sales team to ensure proposed solutions align with client objectives and organizational capabilities - Manage proof-of-concept initiatives and oversee the transition from solution design to implementation Qualifications Required: - Deep knowledge of security domains including network security, application security, cloud security, DATA protection, and secure coding practices - Broad understanding of security regulations and standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS - Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), and design patterns for secure systems - Extensive experience as a Security Technical Architect in a large-scale, multinational environment - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to assess risks and find effective solutions - Strong collaboration and communication skills contributing to team success - Extensive client engagement skills coupled with a strong technical consulting aptitude - Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Note: Workplace type is Hybrid Working) About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
