Network Engineer L3

Job Title: L3 Network Engineer – HPCL Level: L3 Location: Hyderabad Experience: 8–12 Years Budget: 20 Shift: Day Shift (6 Days Working) Education: B.E / B.Tech Certification: CCNP (Mandatory) Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Routing, Switching, and Fortigate SD-WAN . Configure and monitor core controllers and network policies to ensure smooth network operations. Perform L3-level troubleshooting for escalated incidents and ensure timely resolution. Implement and optimize network performance, redundancy, and security. Collaborate with OEM vendors and internal IT teams for upgrades and issue resolution. Maintain and update documentation, network topology diagrams, and configuration details. Ensure compliance with HPCL's IT and security standards. Participate in network improvement projects and provide technical leadership to junior engineers. Required Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Switching (VLANs, STP, trunking, etc.) . Hands-on experience with Fortigate SD-WAN configuration and policy management . Expertise in core controller configuration and policy-based networking . Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network environments. Strong understanding of network security principles and firewall policies . Ability to work effectively in a high-availability enterprise setup . Qualifications: Education: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. Certification: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) – mandatory. Experience: 8–12 years in enterprise-level network management and operations.
