Data and Analytics Managing Consultant

As an experienced ETL / DWH tester, you will be responsible for testing data platforms built on Azure, including ADLS, ADF, Synapse, and Databricks. Your role will involve writing complex SQL queries for validation and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Power BI semantic model validation. You should have a strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and medallion architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct ETL / DWH testing with 8-12 years of experience. - Utilize strong SQL skills for writing complex validation queries. - Work with Microsoft Fabric components like Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Power BI for semantic model validation. - Test data platforms on Azure including ADLS, ADF, Synapse, and Databricks. - Apply experience with Python, PySpark, or similar scripting languages for automation. - Demonstrate domain knowledge by testing insurance data and familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks. - Showcase soft skills such as strong analytical abilities, communication, and working in agile, cross-functional teams. - Maintain a detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience in ETL / DWH testing. - Strong SQL skills for complex validation queries. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components. - Experience testing data platforms built on Azure. - Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and medallion architecture. - Experience with Python, PySpark, or similar scripting languages. - Domain knowledge in insurance data testing and regulatory reporting frameworks. - Soft skills including analytical abilities, communication, and teamwork. Engagement Details: - Location: Hybrid/Remote with occasional visits to NTT offices (Delhi/NCR). - Reporting: Works under the Test Lead and collaborates with Fabric Engineers, Solution Architects, and Hiscox Data Platform teams. - Duration: Multi-phase engagement aligned with Hiscoxs data modernization roadmap.
