About the role
Job Title: Oracle Database Performance Tuning Consultant.
Location: Austin, Tx .

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, NoSQL databases like Neo4j, and preferably SingleStore DB. The role will involve code review, performance tuning, database growth monitoring, storage planning, and infrastructure maintenance.
Responsibilities

Oracle Database Performance Tuning:

Analyze and optimize Oracle database performance.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Implement best practices for efficient database operations.

PL/SQL Code Review and Tuning Advisory:

Review and optimize PL/SQL code for efficiency and reliability.

Provide advisory on best practices for PL/SQL development.

NoSQL Database Experience:
-
Proficiency in NoSQL databases, particularly Neo4j/Graph databases.

Ability to work with non-relational data models and query languages.

Knowledge of SingleStore DB (Advantageous):

Familiarity with SingleStore DB architecture, administration, and optimization.

Ability to leverage SingleStore DB features for performance enhancements.

Database Growth Monitoring and Infrastructure Maintenance:

Monitor database growth and plan for storage requirements.

Perform regular infrastructure maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Skills and Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:

Strong experience in Oracle Database performance tuning.

Proficiency in PL/SQL with a track record of code optimization.

Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Neo4j/Graph databases.

Familiarity with SingleStore DB is a plus.
