About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining as a skilled Sales System Analyst - Xactly Connect in a rapidly expanding team to support the global sales operations organization. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize Xactly sales compensation systems, specifically focusing on Xactly Connect and data integrations. Additionally, you will serve as the subject-matter expert for Xactly maintenance, ETL processes, and system implementation, with further support for the Adaptive Insights Quota Planning System. Key Responsibilities: - Data Integration & Administration: Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines using Xactly Connect to ensure seamless data flow between source systems (CRM, HRIS, ERP) and Xactly Incent. - System Configuration: Plan, review, and revise configurations and customizations to meet evolving business, compensation, and operational needs. - Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Actively troubleshoot intermittent data errors, integration failures, and break/fix issues. Maintain user permissions and role access across systems. - Business Analysis: Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and SQL queries. - Special Projects & Support: Work on process improvements, automation, and system training. Respond to inquiries from the sales team regarding data accuracy and compensation. - Cross-System Support: Perform additional tasks related to the administration of Xactly Incent and Adaptive Insights as needed. Qualifications Required: - Technical Experience: Proven experience using, implementing, and administering Xactly Connect and Xactly Incent. (Experience with Adaptive Insights is highly preferred). - Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with SQL and Excel. - Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related area of study. - Industry Experience: 25 years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or sales data administration. - Work Style: Well-organized, highly detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively with moderate supervision. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical sales stakeholders.
