As an ASIC Design Engineer - Hardware at our company, you will be a valuable member of the ASIC backend/timing team, contributing to product designs with a focus on various tasks such as clocks, timing convergence, chip layout planning, design optimization, and the automation of workflows. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and enhancing timing analysis/signoff workflows from frontend to backend at both chip and block levels. - Conducting chip level integration, physically partitioning, and floor planning. - Creating custom timing scripts using tcl/primetime for clock skew analysis and special circuits like clock dividers, core logic IO macros interfaces (e.g., PCI-E, Frame-Buffer/Memory, HDMI). - Performing design optimization and tasks related to timing convergence. - Participating in the development of PD workflows. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of relevant ASIC design experience, preferably with a focus on timing. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging physical design problems.
