About the role
As a Hardware Engineer at NVIDIA System Production Engineering group, you will be responsible for overseeing networking systems' production engineering matters. This role will require your expertise in hardware, firmware/software, mechanical integration, and manufacturing. You will supervise production engineering activities across contract manufacturing lines, collaborating closely with various groups within the networking organization such as Hardware/Software/Firmware R&D, Architecture, Test Engineering, Quality & Reliability, and Operations. Key Responsibilities: - Leading Cross-Organizational Task Forces: Manage and lead cross-functional teams to address quality events and failure modes in NVIDIA's networking products. Coordinate efforts from hardware, software, and manufacturing departments to identify and resolve issues. - Root Cause Analysis and Test Planning: Conduct in-depth root cause analysis by analyzing failure modes. Monitor and control test yield for all stations. - Onsite Engineering Support: Serve as the technical owner for test issues, test infrastructures, and test setup. Provide fast and professional responses to all issues. The working place is based at the factory at Jabil Pune in India. Qualifications Required: - B.S.C in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. - 4+ years of technical experience in hardware design/system failure analysis/debugging/Architecture or Product Engineer. - Familiarity with the manufacturing processes of electric products. - Proficiency with lab equipment, lab setups, and troubleshooting skills. - Highly motivated teammate who stays updated with new technologies and FA methodologies. - Proficient in English. Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd: - Experience as a test engineer or product engineer. - Experience in board design/system. - Familiarity with ICT/JTAG technology and/or functional tests. - Proficiency in Linux operating systems and programming languages such as Perl/Python.
