About the role
Generic Job Description (not Job Level specific): The PC board design Engineer / Architect assists engineers in the design and development of complex and detailed layouts of printed circuit boards. Collaborates in developing state-of-the-art designs of new or modified, high-density, printed circuit boards. Establishes design standards and configurations. Works from preliminary schematics, part lists and basic description of the board function, configuration and arrangement as defined by engineering. Trains drafters in the completion of drawings and specifications. May perform the checking of design layouts and detailed drawings. Requirements 1. Educational Background Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications, or a related field Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design and analysis 2. Technical Skills Familiar with the full hardware development process (Design → Verification → Validation) Expertise in one or more of the following areas: High-speed signal design (Signal Integrity) Power design (Power Integrity / PMIC) PCB layout and SI/PI analysis Semiconductor testing or ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) architecture Proficient with related design and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Allegro, ADS, HFSS) 3. System Integration & Testing Strong hardware debugging and issue analysis skills System integration experience is a plus 4. Language Skills Intermediate or above proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) Ability to communicate effectively in a global team environment 5. Work Experience Typically 5–10+ years of relevant experience (for senior or principal roles) Experience in semiconductor, consumer electronics, or server hardware industries is preferred 6.
