As a Data Scientist and Instructor at NxtWave, you will play a crucial role in leading the design of high-quality assessments and learning experiences for Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing industry-aligned assessments for various programs. - Creating coding challenges, MCQs, case studies, project-based tasks, and hands-on evaluations. - Analyzing industry trends to ensure assessment relevance and quality. - Developing practical assessment scenarios using real-world datasets and business use cases. - Collaborating with SMEs, curriculum teams, and instructors to maintain technical accuracy. - Reviewing and improving assessment quality based on learner performance and feedback. - Ensuring assessments evaluate problem-solving ability, coding proficiency, and analytical thinking. - Mentoring associate content developers within the technical pod. - Supporting instructional activities such as technical sessions, workshops, and learner guidance. - Working closely with product teams to enhance learner engagement and assessment experience. Qualifications required for this role include: - 14 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or technical content development. - Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data science libraries/frameworks. - Hands-on experience with real-world datasets and business problem-solving. - Ability to design coding challenges, case studies, and project-based assessments. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Passion for teaching, mentoring, and improving learner outcomes. The location for this full-time position is at NxtWave Office Spaces in Hyderabad, with a standard working schedule of 5 days a week.
