About the role
Manager – IT Operations Location: Gurugram & Mumbai Department: IT – Network & Infrastructure Experience Required: 8–10 years Work Type: Work from Office Role Overview: We are seeking a results-oriented IT Operations Manager to lead the execution of infrastructure projects across data centers, offices, retail stores, and warehouses. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in End user support, IT Asset Management, network operations, project governance, and people management, with proven experience in retail and warehouse environments. Key Responsibilities: • Individual should have past exposure of managing IT End user support for 2000+ employees / end points • Plan, manage, and execute large-scale IT / network infrastructure projects (e.g. SD- WAN, LAN/WAN setups, firewall migrations). • Lead network rollout for retail stores and warehouses, ensuring connectivity readiness, scalability, and security. • Coordinate with ISPs and telecom vendors for timely circuit provisioning and service activation. • Track project timelines, budgets, scope, and risks; ensure documentation and regular reporting. • Oversee hardware readiness for end-user devices (laptops, desktops) and basic ad- aware configurations. • Conduct site readiness assessments, manage vendor teams, and supervise installations. • Lead incident escalations, change management, and troubleshooting coordination. • Mentor L1 and L2 engineers; conduct regular reviews, training, and skill-building sessions. • Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to SLA and SOPs. Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or a related field. • 10–12 years of network infrastructure and IT project management experience. • Deep knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and OSI layers. • Strong experience with retail store and warehouse IT deployments. • Familiarity with laptops, desktops, MacBook's, and ad-aware management in enterprise environments. • Excellent leadership, communication, and multi-vendor coordination skills. • Hands-on experience with tools like Zoho, Manage Engine, MS Project, JIRA, and network diagramming tools. • OEM Exposure of Fortinet, Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco Preferred Certifications: • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification • CCNA / ITAM • ITIL Foundation (preferred) Why Join Nykaa Nykaa offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you'll contribute to impactful infrastructure projects and grow alongside an evolving tech landscape.
