About the role
As a skilled Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end data migration and warehousing solutions using Snowflake, Python, and AWS services. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Snowflake data structures, implementing efficient ETL pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance data solutions. Proficiency in Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization is essential, and experience in healthcare data is a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Snowflake tables, views, stored procedures, streams, and tasks using SnowSQL. - Develop ETL processes using Python and AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions to migrate data from various sources into Snowflake. - Utilize SQL expertise to write optimized queries for data extraction from Snowflake. - Experience in data modeling including Star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for complex data warehousing projects. - Troubleshoot issues related to SnowPipe performance optimization and implement improvements. - Ensure high availability of the system by implementing redundancy measures. - Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation, data visualization, DAX, Power Query, and SQL (T-SQL, Stored Procedures). Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of Data Migration concepts including ETL process development using Python & AWS Services like S3, Lambda, Step Functions. HealthCare experience is an additional advantage. - Strong proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, NextJS, and VueJS. - Experience in leading teams as a Tech Lead or Engineering Lead for at least 2 years. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web application security. - Good exposure to CI/CD, version control systems (Git), and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus). - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
