Tableau Prep Consultant (Mumbai)

Tableau Prep Consultant Location: Mumbai Experience : 2-5 Yrs exp We are looking for a client-facing Tableau Prep Consultant primarily responsible for data preparation, transformation, and automation using Tableau Prep, along with supporting Tableau dashboard development. The role involves direct interaction with clients to understand business requirements, ensure data readiness, and deliver analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities Client Interaction & Consulting Engage with clients to understand business requirements and data challenges. Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and technical discussions. Translate business needs into data preparation workflows and reporting solutions. Provide regular project updates, documentation, and client communication. Tableau Prep (Primary Focus) Design and develop data preparation flows using Tableau Prep Builder/Conductor. Perform data cleaning, transformation, blending, and validation. Automate data refresh processes and monitor data pipelines. Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and governance compliance. Tableau Visualization (Secondary Role) Support development and enhancement of Tableau dashboards. Assist in dashboard performance optimization and data validation. Troubleshoot reporting issues and support client queries. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Tableau Prep (mandatory). Working knowledge of Tableau Desktop/dashboard development. Solid understanding of SQL, ETL concepts, and data modeling. Experience working with relational databases and multiple data sources. Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
