Senior Associate, Investment Data and Reporting, Risk, Reporting & Analytics (APAC)

Role Overview: As a Senior Associate of Investment Data and Reporting at Oaktree, you will be responsible for overseeing the curation of deal data throughout the investment life cycle, with a focus on credit instruments and markets. Your role will involve various tasks such as data validation, exception management, technology-enabled reporting, partnership, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with investment professionals to streamline deal monitoring templates and disseminate initial deal data and amendments. - Enhance controls frameworks for data sets related to portfolio companies, transactions, and holdings. - Validate and enrich quantitative and qualitative deal-data throughout the investment life cycle. - Centrally manage entity mastering for private companies. - Create and maintain reporting views in data lakes. - Utilize Python, SQL, and data visualization tools to manage and manipulate large data sets. - Support the implementation of process changes, automated reports, and technology systems. - Collaborate with organizational partners to ensure robust data production. - Partner with citizen developer teams on technology-enabled reporting activities. - Identify opportunities for creating superior data solutions and building efficiencies. Qualifications Required: - 7 years of relevant technical experience in data lake/data warehouse technologies. - Solid knowledge of alternative investments and relevant reporting/dashboard outputs. - Strong technical skills with data warehousing and integration technologies. - Experience building dashboards and data visualizations. - Expertise in software development languages/frameworks like Python, Scala/Spark. - Familiarity with cloud-based data services and platforms.
