About the role
You are a Big Data Developer with over 4 years of experience, and you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Your role will involve working with large-scale datasets, data lakes, ETL processes, and business intelligence solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data solutions - Build and optimize ETL pipelines and data processing frameworks - Develop applications using Scala, Spark, and Hive - Implement and maintain data models and data warehousing solutions - Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions - Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports - Ensure data quality, performance, and governance standards - Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and Agile development processes Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of software development experience - Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage) - Strong expertise in Scala, Spark, and Hive - Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing concepts - Strong SQL and database skills - Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines - Knowledge of Unix/Linux and web technologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Additional Company Details: The company prefers candidates with experience in Power BI Development, DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Business Intelligence, and Reporting Solutions.
