IT & Network Support - Fresher (Kochi)

Job Purpose To support daily IT operations in Kochi and provide remote support to the UAE office. The fresher will assist in managing servers, networks, user issues, data backups, and ongoing infrastructure projects. Educational Qualifications - Diploma / BSc / BCA / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or equivalent - Certifications (optional but beneficial): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, MTA (Windows Server) Responsibilities - Assist with setup and management of Windows Server and Active Directory (AD) - Help maintain user accounts, group policies (GPO), DNS/DHCP - Support NAS storage systems (QNAP/Synology) - user access, folders, backups - Monitor and report on backup health and DLM (Data Lifecycle Management) practices - Provide first-level support to end users for hardware, network, and software issues - Support deployment of design Softwares - Help configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls and inter-office VPN connectivity - Maintain IT asset logs, documentation, and SOPs - Coordinate with vendors or remote support teams as needed Skills - Basic knowledge of IP networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN) - Familiarity with Windows OS, PC setup, and troubleshooting - Understanding of basic server concepts (Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP) - Interest or exposure to firewalls and network storage systems (NAS) - Ability to communicate effectively and work under guidance - Willingness to learn and take initiative in a small team environment Tools & Technologies - Windows Server 2022/2025 - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy - Fortinet FortiGate firewall - QNAP NAS - Engineering Design software environments - Remote support tools: Any Desk, Team Viewer, Ultra viewer - Basic ticketing & documentation tools Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Compensation: 12,500.00 - 15,000.00 per month Perks: - Health insurance - Provident Fund Shift: - Day shift Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 10/06/2025 .
