OctaShop eRetail Services Private Limited is looking for System Manager to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey System Administration: Oversee the administration of operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure their reliability and security System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to keep systems and software up to date and secure System Deployment: Plan, configure, and deploy new hardware and software systems as needed to support the organization's operations Hardware Management: Manage the organization's hardware assets, including servers, workstations, storage devices, and networking equipment Software Management: Manage software applications, licenses, and updates, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage data backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data is protected and recoverable in case of a system failure or disaster Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to optimize and improve system efficiency User Account Management: Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions to ensure data and system security Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization technologies to improve resource utilization and scalability Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system issues and technical problems, providing support to end-users when needed Capacity Planning: Monitor system resource utilization and plan for future capacity needs to support business growth Compliance: Ensure that systems adhere to regulatory compliance and data protection requirements relevant to the organization's industry Vendor and Third-Party Management: Collaborate with technology vendors and third-party service providers to procure and maintain hardware, software, and services Budgeting: Manage the IT budget for hardware, software, maintenance, and support services Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures Project Management: Lead or participate in IT projects related to system upgrades, migrations, or implementations
