AWS Cloud Ops engineer

As a technology innovator in the cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation space, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable AWS infrastructure. This involves utilizing tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices. You will also automate CI/CD pipelines across microservices and containerized workloads using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Implementing and enforcing AWS security controls, monitoring cloud performance, and optimizing AWS costs will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices. - Automate CI/CD pipelines across microservices and containerized workloads using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. - Implement and enforce AWS security controls (IAM, SCPs, GuardDuty, Config) and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar frameworks. - Monitor cloud performance and uptime using CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus; set up SLOs, alerts, and auto-remediation scripts. - Optimize AWS cost through Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and budget alerts; conduct monthly cost reviews and rightsizing initiatives. - Collaborate with Dev & Security teams to harden environments, enforce tagging standards, and support incident response during outages.
