About the role
Job Summary The Network & Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for devices, network infrastructure & security, IT systems & Security systems such as CCTV & Biometrics. This role ensures reliable operation of desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network devices and services while delivering prompt and effective support to users. Key Responsibilities Desktop & End-User Support - Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals - Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application issues - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (Active Directory / Azure AD) - Provide in office and remote support to users. - Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation - Regular maintenance and services of all these equipments. Network Support - Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections. - Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues. - Install, configure, Monitor and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points. - Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and cabling. - Ensure network availability and reliability. Systems & Security - Support server administration (Windows Server/Linux) - Perform system updates, patches, and backups - Assist in implementing IT security policies and best practices as per OWASP, DPDP rules and policies. - Monitor antivirus, endpoint protection, and firewall rules - Install, configure and maintain CCTV, Biometric, Access control devices and other such physical security devices. Documentation & Process - Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support guides - Log and track incidents and service requests using ticketing systems - Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when required Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 1 .
