As a Forward Deployed Engineer at OmniDimension, you will play a crucial role at the intersection of engineering and customer impact. You will have the opportunity to work closely with customers, rapidly build demos, solve problems on the fly, and contribute to critical product features. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a technical bridge between customers and the engineering team. - Building and delivering compelling demos and proof-of-concepts tailored to customer needs. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for live customer environments. - Contributing to key feature development in the Voice AI platform using Python, APIs, and integrations. - Working closely with sales and product teams to gather requirements and provide feedback for roadmap prioritization. - Presenting technical solutions and product capabilities to customer stakeholders. - Documenting best practices and building reusable templates for faster future deployments. Qualifications required for this role include: - 2+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in Python or Node.js. - Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and web technologies. - Comfortable working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and deploying services. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet with customers. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly desired skills for this position include experience with telephony/communication platforms like Twilio or Exotel, exposure to frontend frameworks for rapid prototyping, knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with conversational AI systems, and previous experience in a customer-facing or solutions engineering role.
