About the role
As a Senior Technical Architect in Broking Platforms at our company, your role will involve designing and scaling a mission-critical, ultra-low latency stock broking platform built for massive scale and peak market volatility. You will need to leverage your deep capital markets expertise and strong experience in building high-throughput, deterministic real-time systems in regulated environments. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end architecture of a high-performance trading platform. - Design systems for ultra-low latency, high TPS, and predictable performance. - Architect scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems with zero-downtime principles. - Drive active-active, multi-region architecture strategy and DR readiness. - Lead performance benchmarking, tuning, and capacity planning. - Establish architectural governance and engineering best practices. - Collaborate with business, product, and compliance teams. - Mentor senior engineers and lead architecture reviews. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years in backend/distributed systems engineering. - Proven experience building ultra-low latency, high-scale systems. - Mandatory 3-5 years of experience in stock broking / trading platforms / capital markets. - Experience handling mission-critical systems with strict SLAs. - Exposure to high-volume, real-time transaction systems. In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will be expected to have a strong hands-on understanding of various aspects related to Broking Platforms such as Order & Execution, Market Data & Charting, Portfolio, Risk & P&L, Distributed Broking Architecture, and Tech Compliance & Governance. This expertise will be essential in ensuring the success of our broking platform. The ideal candidate will possess core engineering skills in Go and Java, along with a deep understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, and networking fundamentals. You should also have experience with gRPC, designing distributed architectures, event-driven systems using Kafka, cloud infrastructure like AWS and/or GCP, and disaster recovery planning. In this role, we value a performance-first engineering mindset, strong architectural ownership and accountability, the ability to operate in high-pressure trading environments, and clear technical leadership and decision-making capability. Join us in shaping the future of broking platforms with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
