Essential Functions: - Robust knowledge on Performance testing tools preferably Jmeter. - Proficient in Understanding application architecture, Designing, Planning, Load modelling, Infrastructure estimation. - Responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements for performance (such as throughput, latency, memory, CPU, Disk usage etc.) are met. - Design, develop and execute overall automated Performance Test Plan to validate Load, Stability, Scalability, and Reliability standards of the application are achieved. - Debug, troubleshoot, and work with the development engineering team to resolve and performance issues such as analyzing Thread dumps, Heap dumps, High CPU analysis, GC analysis, High response time transactions break up and working with technical teams to resolve bottlenecks by fine tuning and providing recommendations. - Understanding of performance counters and its relations such as CPU, memory, GC and Disk IO relations etc. - Strong in Relational Database Performance, SQL tuning, preferably Oracle. - Should have background in application monitoring tools like AppDynamics, NewRelic, Dynatrace, Oracle Enterprise Management (OEM), Database Performance Monitoring (DPA), etc - Experience in Unix/shell scripting. - Create and maintain reports that describe KPIs, performance issues and possible root causes. Experience: - Bachelors Degree, Computer Science, Engineering or related preferred - 3+ years of performance testing experience with detailed understanding of infrastructure and DB Should have experience in delivering multiple projects single handedly. - Java development experience is preferred. .
