About the role
Role Overview: Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services distribution company, is looking for Product Managers to join the UPI Payments team. As a Product Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership in Product, Technology, and Business to articulate business needs into actionable product requirements. You will be responsible for writing detailed product requirement documents, leading product processes such as Agile/Scrum, and managing deliverables. Furthermore, you will obsess with data, define and track key metrics, conduct user-research, industry analysis, competitor mapping, and help define the Product Roadmap for the UPI Payments offering aligned with the broader company vision and yearly targets. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with senior leadership to articulate business needs into actionable product requirements - Write detailed product requirement documents, lead product processes (Agile/Scrum), and manage deliverables - Obsess with data, define and track key metrics, and draw actionable insights - Conduct user-research, industry analysis, competitor mapping, and ideate on future developments - Define Product Roadmap for the UPI Payments offering aligned with the company vision and targets - Develop robust reconciliation and payment processes for accurate and timely financial settlements - Lead the development and enhancement of onboarding processes for new customers, ensuring seamless user experiences and compliance with regulatory requirements Qualifications: - 2 years of experience in Product Management, Software Development, Analytics, or similar roles in a consumer payments product set-up - 1 year of experience in product management with an academic background of post-graduation in Management (MBA) or equivalent qualification is preferred but not necessary - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field - Tech background with a good understanding of technology, data, and building products - Prior experience in product management, preferably in the Fintech, Banking, or Payments industry - Deep understanding of payments, reconciliation, onboarding workflows, and financial settlement processes - Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills If you are passionate about building products, obsess over data, and want to impact millions of users, Paytm's UPI Payments team is the place for you.
