Senior Quality Engineer - Test Automation Lead

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Quality Engineer - Test Automation Lead to drive quality engineering across iOS, Android, APIs, and backend services. This role is responsible for automation strategy, test framework development, CI/CD quality integration, and technical leadership while partnering with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases. Key Responsibilities Define and execute mobile and backend test automation strategy. Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS, Android, and APIs. Build and manage CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines and quality gates. Lead performance, reliability, and release-readiness testing initiatives. Mentor QA Engineers and SDETs through technical guidance and code reviews. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to improve product quality and delivery. Experience Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in mobile development and/or test automation. 3+ years of experience in a senior or technical leadership role. Mobile Development & Test Automation Swift, SwiftUI, XCTest, and Xcode. Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Compose UI Testing, and Android Studio. JUnit 4 and JUnit 5. Understanding of mobile application signing, packaging, and command-line deployment. Backend & API Testing Experience testing APIs and backend services. Working knowledge of Java and Spring/Spring Boot. CI/CD & DevOps GitLab CI and YAML pipeline configuration. Bash/shell scripting. Linux, Docker, and CI/CD automation. AWS experience preferred. BrowserStack experience is a plus. Additional Qualifications Strong programming and automation framework design skills. Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
