About the role
Required Qualifications: Education: Associate’s Degree from an Accredited College and or University in a technical or Engineering discipline. 2 plus years of relevant experience Must be able to perform shift work on an 8-hour schedule Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift (preventive maintenance) and/or process issues, ability to perform work in a standing position for the majority of an 8-hour shift (excluding breaks) Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal) Preferred Qualifications: Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience or recent Technical Graduate Knowledge in Equipment Control Systems, i.e. PLCs, Single Loop Controllers, SCADA’s Knowledge in Combustion/Boilers Knowledge in Refrigeration/Chillers Ability to understand Logic, Sequencing, and Programming. Must be “hands-on” and be able to work in the field alongside operators and technicians. Familiarity with hand tools and ability to utilize a DMM (Digital Multimeter). Knowledge in Ethernet Networks and Communications. Employees in this role may be required to participate in the site Emergency Response Brigade and support emergency preparedness activities. Participation includes maintaining required training, certifications, and response readiness in accordance with site policies and business needs. Hourly: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20 to $36.92 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
