Qualifications
-
BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 18 years of experience, or MS + 15 years of experience.

Solid track record of releasing complex ICs to market.

Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and methodologies.

Goal and outcome-focused with the ability to handle multiple projects within the team.

Ability to attract and retain key engineering talent.

Experience in simplifying complex problems into smaller problems and solving them as a team.

Ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges, and concerns to all levels of management.

Solid understanding of various Power Converters such as multiphase converter, current sense amplifier, SAR ADC, Buck, Boost, LDOs, and relevant Analog building blocks.

Solid understanding of topologies and architectures for Constant-on-time, Peak, and Valley Current/Voltage Mode control mechanism, Hysteretic, Multi-Phase Controllers, and Smart Power Stages.

Strong Analog IC design skills, debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing.
-
Familiarity with advanced Bipolar, CMOS, and High Voltage BCD technology, Process, Device Physics, Semiconductor Manufacturing processes, and their impact on Analog performance.

understanding of large power transistor (LDMOS) Design, Layout, and Robustness.

Proficiency in leading-edge design and verification tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations, Cadence Spectre for schematic capture, simulation, layout, and tape-out.

Solid understanding of DC-DC PMIC/POL, Multiphase controllers, Dr. MOS, AC-DC converters, LED drivers, SiC devices and SiC drivers.
