We’re building something exciting — a brand-new, state-of-the-art Power Electronics & Mechatronics Laboratory spanning over 600 m² , and we’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Applications Technician to keep it running smoothly.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of innovation, supporting engineers, shaping lab processes, and working with cutting-edge tools and technologies.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain automatic parametric test programs for Keithley test systems

  • Configure, operate, and automate measurements using:

  • B1500 / B1505 analyzers, ACDC and DCDC high voltage and high power sources

  • Keithley HV-SMUs

  • Semi-automatic probers

  • Design and implement new test methods, including development of custom test hardware, fixtures, and tooling

  • Support prototype builds validation activities by designing and fabricating mechanical/electrical test setups

  • Perform development of ATE test routines and automation

  • Collaborate closely with:

  • Device physicists

  • Electrical and mechanical engineers

  • Test engineers and cross-functional teams

  • Provide hands-on technical support to engineering teams and contribute to innovative test and validation solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

  • 10+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience

  • Programming: C++/C#/Python for ATE development

  • Experience with lab instrumentation and parametric test systems for power devices (SiC, GaN)

  • Knowledge of test methodologies for SiC/Si/GaN discrete=s and power modules

  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including debugging and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, FreeCAD)

  • Experience with 3D printing and mechanical/electrical tooling

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Basic knowledge of statistics

  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and commitment to safe working practices

  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
