About the role
JD: Job Purpose The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for validating and aligning CAD assemblies and Bills of Materials (BOM), enabling efficient manufacturing readiness through EBOMMBOM conversion, assembly sequencing, and creation of detailed work instructions. The role supports virtual build, manufacturing planning, and PLM-driven product realization. Key Responsibilities Compare Engineering BOM (EBOM) with CAD assemblies and identify gaps, mismatches, and inconsistencies. Perform CAD cleanup activities to ensure correct structure, hierarchy, and manufacturability. Add fasteners and C-class (standard) items to CAD assemblies and BOMs. Validate final CAD assemblies and BOMs for manufacturing readiness. Convert Engineering BOM (EBOM) to Manufacturing BOM (MBOM). Define assembly sequence and manufacturing process flow. Create detailed assembly work instructions with visuals and step-by-step guidance. Develop CAD models as virtual assembly builds to simulate manufacturing scenarios. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across CAD, BOM, and PLM systems. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues. Tools & Software Creo Parametric Autodesk Inventor Teamcenter VisMockup PLM systems – Advanced / Power User level Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of BOM structures, part classification, and manufacturing processes. Hands-on experience in EBOM–MBOM conversion and assembly sequencing. Experience in creating assembly work instructions and virtual builds. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
