About the role
Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Engineer (SPI) Location: Pune Experience: 10-15 Years Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer with strong experience in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI / INtools) for Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, and Process Industry projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) databases. Prepare and review Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Instrument Datasheets, Cable Schedules, Loop Diagrams, and Control Narratives. Design and specify field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Work on DCS, PLC, SCADA, and SIS system engineering and integration. Review vendor documents, FAT procedures, and technical specifications. Participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, and functional safety reviews. Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Project teams. Support procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
