About the role
Role Overview: You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end delivery of complex product features and platforms, including architecture, design, deployment, observability, and customer impact. As a technical leader, you will lead architecture and design discussions, drive best practices in event-driven, distributed, and scalable systems, and provide hands-on technical leadership in Golang, Node.js, and React ecosystems. Additionally, you will design and evolve event-driven architectures using async messaging, queues, streams, and pub/sub patterns to support high-scale, low-latency systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead architecture and design discussions, driving best practices in event-driven, distributed, and scalable systems. - Provide hands-on technical leadership in Golang, Node.js, and React ecosystems, including code reviews, design reviews, and critical problem solving. - Design and evolve event-driven architectures using async messaging, queues, streams, and pub/sub patterns to support high-scale, low-latency systems. - Build systems that scaleoptimize performance, throughput, reliability, and cost as the product and customer base grows. - Drive cloud-native and hybrid architectures, with experience across cloud deployments, based on customer and business needs. - Ensure strong engineering quality through automated testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and release best practices. - Own production excellencemonitoring, alerting, incident response, post-mortems, and continuous improvement of system reliability. - Partner with Product and Business leaders to influence and execute product strategy, balancing speed, quality, and long-term technical health. - Actively mentor, coach, and grow Senior and Lead Engineers, running career growth conversations and building strong technical leaders. - Build and scale high-performing engineering teams, partnering closely with recruiting to hire top-tier engineers aligned with the company's standards. - Translate business problems into technical solutions, ensuring engineering teams deeply understand the "why" behind what they build. - Demonstrate strong ownership and accountabilitythink beyond feature delivery to customer success, adoption, and business outcomes. - Drive engineering best practices across architecture, security, performance, documentation, and operational excellence. - Collaborate closely with top management to understand long-term business goals and ensure engineering execution supports the company's vision. Qualification Required: - Experience: 10 18 Years (with strong technical/hands-on 80%+ people leadership 20%). - Education: Preferably MCA/B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E/M.S.Tech. - Technology Stack: Golang, Node.js, React, SQL, event-driven and distributed architecture, AWS, HLD, LLD, Application Design, Performance, Scalability, testing. - Other Requirements: - Strong understanding of data consistency, concurrency, fault tolerance, and system design trade-offs. - Proven track record of partnering with leadership to set product and engineering strategy. - Actively coached engineers and helped them grow into senior and leadership roles. - Strong sense of ownership and accountabilityend-to-end, not just code. - Customer-obsessed mindset: developers using company's products must succeed. - Comfortable operating in high-growth environments.
